Secret I've Been Perfecting...

I’m 5’4 and I weigh 142 pounds.
fat.
Let’s all say it together…
FAT!
Accept it.
Tomorrow morning I’m planning on going to the gym.
(After a big… break)
Since I live in Iran, it’s a strictly women only gym; and it’s pretty small too.

Four treadmills.
One of those things that works your arm.
One of those things where it’s like you’re bicycling while standing up
One ab-chair of some sort.
One of those things where you lie down and push weight up using your legs.
One of those extremely bothersome belts that they wrap around the fat and it shakes
(I think it doesn’t work)
A lot of seriously over-weight ladies.
A lot of seriously over-weight old ladies.
A lot of seriously over-weight old ladies in rainbow-inspired spandex.
The younger ones go for a bit of a darker shade…
Camouflaging, I’m guessing.

When I went to sign up, they asked me which class I was going to take.
“What do you mean?” I said clearly struggling with Farsi, the language of Iran.
“Which aerobic class”
After ten minutes of explaining to the mullet-sporting, presumably lesbian lady that I don’t want to take a fucking aerobic class, “I want to work the machines,” she writes my name down in a book.

I’m going to watch what I eat, but I won’t go on a diet.
No Cheetos, No chocolate, No cake, No cookies.
Can’t quit soda, can’t quit mayonnaise.
I know it sounds gross, but I love mayonnaise.
And Coke… is like coke for me.
If I go on a diet, I’ll get tired and bored and I’ll stop exercising and semi-dieting all together.


that’s that.
That’s the ‘fitness’ portion of my life.


I’m tired right now but tomorrow, when I (hopefully) come back from the gym, I’ll write more.
And after that I will force myself to finish my geography.
